These procedures and policies are in place temporarily until it is deemed safe by
local government and public health officials to resume normal protocol. These policies are subject to change in accordance with guidance from local government and public health officials.
GENERAL POLICIES/PROCEDURES
-
Signage will be posted throughout the studio detailing and reminding dancers and families of hygiene and distancing protocol.
-
-
If it is recommended or mandated by local government authorities to close our location due to a health or safety concern, classes will be held as scheduled, but virtually via Zoom.
-
-
Lobby chairs will be removed in order to promote distancing. Parents/guardians are encouraged to wait in their cars instead of in the lobby.
-
-
All water bottles brought into the studio MUST be clearly labeled with the dancer’s name and kept in their dance bag with the rest of their belongings in their designated spot.
-
SAFE PHYSICAL DISTANCING
-
Class size maximums have been set based on the square footage of each studio room to ensure the ability to keep a safe distance between dancers in each studio room.
-
-
Studio and lobby floors will be marked with tape to encourage distancing when possible. Until deemed safe otherwise, students will dance in the studio safely distanced from one another, marked by colorful floor tape.
-
-
We ask parents to wait in cars rather than in the lobby (excluding special circumstances) to prevent congestion and encourage distancing. An SRSDG instructor will be at the entrance/exit door ensuring a guardian is outside waiting for all younger dancers.
-
-
Parents are asked to drop off no more than 5 minutes before class starts, and pick up no more than 5 minutes after class is dismissed to decrease the number of dancers waiting in the lobby and help us promote these protocols.
-
-
Dancers who must wait or remain in the lobby in between classes are asked to keep physical distancing as much as possible.
-
